Let's meet the Mornington crew! They're a friendly bunch. We'll meet in Gardenvale and ride down to their breakfast in Somerville. It's an hour's ride.

It's been a long time since the Club has visited the historical artists' colony in Etham. September is a beautiful time to see this place, as the wisteria is out and the gardens are just lovely.

This new venue has good food and coffee and they are excited to meet us.

Next Monday's weather is looking stunning for a ride along the Great Ocean Road coast to enjoy Erskine Waterfall at Lorne during the quiet off season.

Our Around the Bay will be a bit different this year.

Firstly it will be a Club / Member only ride.

Just a chance for a local ride - Sunday is meant to be pleasant, so we're doing a local "Around the Bellarine" ride

Starting out in Geelong, following the Bay to Portarlington, then to St Leonards, Queenscliff for a leg stretch and on to Barwon Heads

A Blue Bay Ride to the north western side Mornington Peninsula. It's a tour around the Bay to taking in Crib Point and Hastings for views across to French Is, and then up to Tooradin for lunch at The Old Jetty Cafe and Tearooms. All up, only about 20

The next Committee Meeting of the VCM takes place on Tues 16 August for a 7.00 meeting start.

Main discussion will be events taking us to the end of the year. There are some ideas for 2024 too.

We'll also set up the Annual General Meeting.
