Geelong to Forrest via The Otways ride - Wed 14th Jan - Deferred due to Otway Fires

Departs 9am from the Edge Wasterfront Geelong, travelling via the Otways for a tea and scones in the tree tops at Forrest before heading back along the Great Ocean Road stopping at Aireys Inlet Lighthouse cafe for lunch before returning to Geelong by about 2pm. All vespa riders welcome.

Please note this ride has been deferred until further notice due to active fires in the Otways. The ride will be re-listed when the area is declared safe.

    Hi Enzo. What diabolical weather over the last two weeks. Heat, Fire, and then finally Floods. This is a beautiful ride and I'd be interested in linking it to a Melbourne ride ride down to join you. Let me know when you're thinking of resetting the ride, and I'm happy to coordinate with you if that's OK.

    We are watching the weather and conditions in the Otways to determine if the ride should still go ahead - assume it is for now. A call will be made in the next day or two

    Hi all 

    Please note the weather forecast for Friday has been amended to 40 degrees and therefore the ride has been deferred to the following Wednesday 14th January 2026.
