8485214291?profile=originalAn event for our members with geared or classic Vespa, especially our members on Club Permits. A modern PX is accepted by the event organizers. A great afternoon of riding fun. This is an international event, and there are teams taking part around Australia. More information on FB here.

This is not a race

Club breakfast Meet from 8.30 am at Cafe Zen Den, 736 Main Road, Eltham  SEE MAP for breakfast and coffee. Departing at 10 am for a short ride to Hurstbridge and the event. The cafe has poor signage so it's easy to miss. Park behind the cafe down the drive.

"The Victorian event will be held near Hurstbridge on the same course as last year - through the open roads and bush surrounding the town. Starting at 11 am - just up from the bridge. You can grab a coffee before and a beer afterwards. Here's the location and the course - pretty straightforward but you may want to familiarise yourself beforehand. https://goo.gl/maps/xeLiDhcad142
From the organizer Michael King: For those who haven't done it before, it's a low speed event that pits you against yourself. You simply do four consecutive laps of a set public road course, and try to keep each lap time the same as the last. The prize goes to the rider with the closest lap times. So you can go as slowly as you like. It's actually harder than it sounds! Just have fun on your bike."

Members: please RSVP here and we will pass on your attendance to the event organizer prior to the day. The Victorian event is organized by Michael King and nationally sponsored by the Lambretta Club of Australia.

    Hi all

I have passed on your attendance to the organizers of this event. So see you there!

If you own a club leg shield banner, then this is an event to display it.

If you were thinking of attending this event, then please sign up as soon as possible. We have to let the organizers know of numbers  - basically now.

It's really just a bit of fun and is not a race or high speed event. You can come along and not compete - time keepers needed.

Just as well I mentioned that Rolf, I totally forgot that both Greg and I have clocks glued to our PX's so we will have to put black tape over them...oooops...:)  Looking forward to it and would be great to have some extra helpers...who wants to time me...???????

I'd like to add that clocks/stopwatches are not permitted while riding the course.

It looks as though there will be many more riders participating this year over the past few years, so any extra helpers would be appreciated. People are needed to time each scooter as it does its laps.

Hi Greg, is there an option for classic owners to come and just watch but not participate? I'll be attempting the course. The route link didn't work for me. Just gave the possible start point. Perhaps you need a Google Maps account first to see it.
