Our first breakfast meet in the South East. We'd like as many members as possible to attend, with a view to making it a regular event. We understand that distance makes participation difficult for  some in the South & Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, so the Club is coming to you.

We'll start off at Sofia's on the Pier Promenade, Frankston Waterfront. We can settle on a regular venue once things evolve.8485190265?profile=original

There will be a central Melb feeder ride into the breakfast, and.... there will be a ride afterwards. The club is asking for one of our members from that area to step up to be the Eastern coordinator / run a regular / irregular breakfast meet and the occasional ride.

17 vespas and 25 people in total today.  Great turnout.  Looking forward to exploring more of the Peninsula and beyond.

Great ride today and as Julie said it is nice to meet some members that we haven't ridden with before. Route was sorted with input from members. Did loose a few on the way. Lovely lunch at Montalto winery then a ride through Red Hill, balnarring and Hastings ending with a coffee and wine at Vesbar in Somerville, which is owned by a Club member Lee and his wife. Relaxing end to the ride. Thank you one and all

Good to know you all had a nice event in the east. Another flat Julie? That's a shame. I haven't had one in over two years. The thin Sava inner tubes gave me trouble until I swapped them over to a thicker tube supplied by Vespa House.

Great turnout this morning and the weather was perfect and thank you to Sofia's for the delicious breakfasts.

The aim of this breakfast was to give members in the area an opportunity to join in a club event and it lovely to meet you all and to see some faces we haven't seen for awhile.

Sorry Greg and I couldn't complete the lovely ride afterwards that Pam organised...I just didn't feel safe on my bike.

Grrrrr can't believe I have now had another flat tyre on my PX on its second ride.... Well off to Derek's on Thursday to get that all sorted hopefully.

Thanks so much to Phil and Andy who struggled to get that threaded nut off and conquered in the end...well done boys and I am sorry to have held up the ride Pam.  Hmmm should have ridden the auto perhaps!!!!

Got home safely and I hope everyone else did in the end also.

See you all when I get back from my hols.

    Cheers Julie
