An Exciting Destination In The Yarra Valley
Chocolaterie Yarra says:
Come and visit us in the picturesque Yarra Valley where our stunning architect designed Chocolaterie is a sweet feast for the senses.
We welcome you with free chocolate tastings, displays of thousands of premium chocolates and European chocolatiers at work handcrafting our creations.
Delight in the experience of tasting, seeing and indulging in quality products in our spectacular showroom and café nestled amongst sweeping valley vistas. Ice creams, decadent sweet treats and a light lunch await in our café while our expansive lawns, orchard and sculptures are the perfect place for children to play and explore.
Now meeting at Johnston & Palmer cafe opposite Vespa House in Johnston Street.
Clem offers great blends of coffee and will also do a few breakfast treats if you want to have a snack before heading off. He will be open from 8.30am and we will be departing at 9.30am.
We will visit the Chocolaterie, then take a short ride to the DeBortelli winery for some cheese tasting, then head across to Healesville to the Beechworth Bakery for some delicious pastries and a wander around before heading back to AlleyCat Cafe in Maling Rd.
All welcome, come along and have the chocolate experience that everyone seems to be talking about these days...

Thank you JB for your great knowledge of the Yarra Valley and beyond. What a great ride and sorry guys for the windy weather you all did so well. It was going to be a short ride but hey what's a few extra kms when you get to ride through such amazing countryside. So glad you enjoyed your first ride with the club Athena and Chris and Les. I guess you will sleep well tonight..lol.... Hope everyone got their chocolate fix and how divine was that goats cheese as a complimentary to the cheese tasting at De Bortoli winery... Hope everyone got home safely and we look forward to you joining us again soon.
Thank you Julie and JB! - great ride today with 22 scooters. We managed the wind, and the long way home through Toolangi was magic.
Yes that is fine Sandra... I thought you might do that... where will you be?
Hi Che
We will be leaving Johnston St at 9.30am and should be at the Chocolaterie place around 10.30am I hope.
See you there.
Cheers Julie
Now that's a lot of chocolate David and I guess you wouldn't want to be riding it on a hottish day...lol
Does Chocolaterie make chocolate Vespas like these? The bottom one is life-sized! I'd love to ride off on one but I suspect I would eat it before I arrived at the destination. Perhaps I could just eat the front end and continue riding as a monocycle.
28 degrees Pam just like last Sunday... have a great ride up. Hope someone hooks up with you along the way but no doubt you will enjoy the ride anyway... See you at Clem's.
Tracy good luck with your essay, get working on it...then reward yourself with a lovely ride....it's been awhile....:)
