Melbourne once had a wonderful Yarra Trail winding all the way from the city to Heidelberg, the bushland home of the Heidelberg art school.  It has since been cut by highways and freeways, but most of the sections are still there. Join us for a ride along the trail. Suitable for all Vespa and rider experience. There will be plenty of stops along the way.

Meeting at Pertutti, Lygon St Carlton (opp Argyle Sq - next to Forza Italia) for coffee from 9.30 am. MAP. Departing at 10 am.

We'll then travel through the city to meet the Yarra, the boatsheds, along the Yarra, stopping at Little Audrey still skipping away, the Yarra Boulevard, and old Heidelberg which still features an original stretch of trail, and then finish at our old haunt at Maling Road Canterbury. Or we may back track to the Fairfield boathouse. There will be many scenic stops along the way. Come along and enjoy old Melbourne while it lasts.

We may not follow this route exactly!

8485383455?profile=originalI discovered today that Batman Ave bw Flinders st and the Swan st bridge - about 600m - is tolled! What? Oh well I am determined to get into the old boat sheds so we'll twist around fed square and Swanston st instead.

Looking for the classic view! But they have made it so hard to get to.

Ladies this is a great ride if you don't want to go to far.  Would be nice to see a few of you joining in, even though I won't be there...but to keep Leonie company...:)

Okay Greg, I will change some gears with you. Don't want you to feel lonely. Imam might be a show too.

Damn missing another event but will check out Mt Duneed for a future ride minus Robbie Williams...:)  This will be a fun ride and the two possible venues are really lovely so will be interesting to hear the feedback.

We'll also explore two possible Club breakfast venues on a Sunday morning. Kanteen in Sth Yarra. and the Fairfield boathouse.

Ok... looking like a lot of mights and gunnas.

I'll ride it on my own then. On a PX and shifting gears with a gimpy arm too.
