Getting there. There aren't any direct flights to Phnom Penh - best deal - prices are currently very cheap. You will need to book two one way flights via Kuala Lumpur.
Click no excess baggage - carry on only. Uncheck the travel insurance option unless you want it. Do reserve your seats.

This is at the end of the 3 day Cambodia New Year holiday peak.
Suggest staying at the airport Tunes hotel that night. No need to book this yet - we can do it later.
(If you want to go into / stay in KL it is over 1 hour by car) It's important to get a good night's sleep as it will be full on from early the next day.
Then from KL to Phnom Penh the next morning
Sunday 29 March 06.45 am
We arrive in PP in the early morning and can travel directly to the project at Kompong Speu (one hour), spend the day with them and pick up the bikes. Stay in Kompong Speu that night (US$13 double room, hot water, WiFi) then ride the next morning.
Getting Back
Friday 10 April 08.20 AM - arrive Melb midnight
Julie and I have booked this return flight. You may want to extend your stay. There are many very cheap flights out of PP to Bangkok and Vietnam.
Entry Requirements
Malaysia - Visa on Arrival. No Charge.
Cambodia - Visa on Arrival US$20 cash, & supply 2 passport photos.

That's great Trevor and Amy. I have been trying to book accommodation at Tune Hotel at Klia2 which is very close the airport, but to no avail... I will keep trying and let you know if and when I am successful.

thanks for your patience and yes both Amy and myself are still in for this event, I just mark our attendance on the website, have booked the fly out with air asia on the 28th Mar, same as your guys, but ditto with David and will decide the return fly later.

Lovely to see you on Sunday, welcome home after your long trip overseas. Hope you are still able to come with us to Cambodia. If so please mark you attendance and I think the Air Asia flights are still pretty cheap... We will be 8 now as Imam is also coming which is great.
