9.30am at the Abbotsford Convent we will depart about 9.45 and ride along the full extent of Yarra Boulevard entering a magical strip of farmland in the heart of the city. There will be potholes on this bit but there will be no rush so you can take it all in. Of course there will be a photo shoot stop along the way.
Our first destination will be Heidi Museum celebrating it's 80th anniversary where will can wander around the numerous galleries and walk the garden.
The next stop will be lunch at Farm Vigano, a generation of italian culture and history set in beautiful country garden surrounds.
The third stop will be backtracking to the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, another beautifully restored homestead with some modern art.

Built in 1899, Bundoora Homestead is a magnificent Queen Anne style Federation mansion operating as a historic house, art gallery and cafe, registered by Heritage Victoria and certified by the National Trust.
Bundoora Homestead Art Centre is the public art gallery for the City of Darebin hosting contemporary visual arts and craft exhibitions, a public education program including artist talks, workshops and events, a community access gallery, and the biennial Darebin Art Show. A selected range of Bundoora Homestead and exhibition merchandise is also available for sale.
Bundoora Homestead’s café offers a seasonal menu of fresh market and quality commercial produce. Set amidst heritage gardens and located in the elegant drawing room, it is the perfect location for dining in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Well the weather held out and the ride went smoothly all bar one little detour sorry guys....
Hope everyone enjoyed seeing some new places in the north, I was a bit nervous and what took over an hour to drive yesterday from Heidi to Farm Vigano was an easy 30 minutes today...yeah....

My apologies. I really enjoyed this event last year but we have a birthday to attend. Have a great ride and a cultural day out.
Went for a test drive of this run today... it is quite a lovely ride and Farm Vigano is a beautiful place to stop for lunch they are excited about having some vespas visit.
There aren't many down to come along but we will still go ahead and see how many turn up at the Convent then make a decision.

Hoping the weather will hold out for this ride. I have booked a table for 10 at Farm Vigano they have squeezed us in for 1pm. Amazing what happens when you mention Vespa especially to an Italian restaurant.!
