Yes, it's on again.

Start at the usual Geelong breakfast. Then we'll head to my place to get changed, did this last year. From there, the Pickers Union cafe at 11 am to meet any other riders. Followed by a ride to the foreshore and a nice cream maybe. Then to the Elephant and Castle for a beer (?) and view of a Beatles photo exhibit. And then on to Little Creatures (Geelong) for lunch, finishing up around 2, then back to my place to get changed

It IS a fundraiser aimed for prostrate cancer and may well be attended by non-club members - we had a few last year.

Keep watching

Hope there weren't any extinguished gentlemen on the ride today. I imagined waxed moustaches blowing all over the road to Geelong like tumbleweeds in Tombstone City's Main Street.

Yes, disappointed! But as you say, better safe than sorry. It was treacherous even going down the 40km/h Sydney Road on my way back. I can only imagine how cyclonic the winds could have been on the freeway. Thanks also for your kind donation! I was wondering where you got that $211 from, and then I checked! Perhaps we can organise our own "distinguished Vespa riders" ride when the weather's a little more tolerable!

    Hi Distinguished Gents and Ladies

So sorry we couldn't make it down to Geelong today.  The wind was just too wild and I hope everyone hasn't been blown to bits down there also...

I would just like to let you know that Viet was most disappointed because he actually went to the trouble of being sponsored for this event and raised $211.

So congratulations Viet even though you didn't get to strutt your stuff, you did look very distinguished this morning, in particular I noticed you polished pointy toed shoes. Well done and I look forward to seeing pics of this event.

Thank you Tufan for once again organising this event.

    Melbourne run down

We're joining our members in Geelong and the Bellarine for their monthly breakfast meet. Followed by the Distnguished Gentlemans Ride in the afternoon.

Come along, it's always a hoot.

Pack your dapper gear and bring it down to the breakfast. We'll change after breakfast and set a scene in Geelong.

The breakfast at The Edge is always good, and is a great reward for the ride down.

We cruise down together from Brooklyn at 8 am, and the ride speed is modified to accommodate all Vespa attending. We look after each other!

The usual meeting detail is below.

    Melbourne ride down

Meeting at the BP SERVO in Brooklyn, Geelong Road.

    Good fuel Coffee! Better amenities

This is the second last servo before entering the freeway to Geelong. If you want to ride together then be here in time to leave at 8 AM sharp.

It's a short half hour ride to the outer suburbs of Geelong.
