The club is invited to attend Pellegrinis on Saturday afternoon. It's not an ordinary afternoon though - Pellegrinis will be a film set for a documentary being made about the iconic institution and our bikes will be part of the work. Rocco Elice - recently retired after 50 years of service there - will also greet us. The Vespa will be arranged by the crew in front of the cafe, and down the side along Crossley St, and will be part of the documentary filming. It should be a lot of fun. Film maker Rob Gabriel will be creating a lively atmosphere with music playing on the street - a big celebration of Italian culture and our Vespas, along with free coffee for VCoM members. And of course. there's food service - this is Pellegrinis! So let's make an afternoon of it and enjoy the fun. Yes we realize the next day is the VcoM Christmas Party, so really it's two days of celebration if you want to come along. All Vespa are welcome, but if you have a classic Vespa, ride it in please!
Now, we have to arrive all together, as the Director will want to arange and organize the bikes as they park. I'm told that the crew will have marshalls to get our bikes off Bourke St and quickly into a park.
So: Meet in Lygon St, Carlton outside Grillers Mark > MAP < from 1.15 PM (opposite Argyle Sq).
We'll depart as one convoy at 1.40 PM, turning left from Russell St into Bourke Street and up the hill to arrive at the venue at 2.00 PM.

An opportunity to ride Priscilla I think
I think the organisers will be happy with as many members who want to be a part of this amazing documentary.
I'll talk it up at the Gelato Gatherings over the coming Wednesday's. Ciao !! Roy
