This is all about celebrating those little things from the past. Forget about the rain and let's ride, from Collingwood to Williamstown and then Flemington. It's a city ride suitable for all bikes, and a chance to get together. New and prospective members come along, and enjoy the Club. The weather? Nah... ignore it and beat it! These are my famous last words.
Meet at Vespa House. Johnston Street Collingwood (map) from 9.30 am. Vespa House won't be open so we won't be able to bother Frank! But Clem has opened a cafe Johnston & Palmer right on the corner and serves great coffee and snacks. Got a photo of your bike on this iconic corner? Departing at 10.30 am.
We'll ride to historic Williamstown - ice cream and photo shoot right on the foreshore.
Then over the bridge to Flemington for the Hobby & Collectables Fair.
Now, this is an interesting and eclectic event for a good wander around. We are sure you will find something special here. Entry is only$5.
We may then ride to the Town Hall Hotel in North Melbourne for a late lunch, just to complete the nostalgia.

Hope this ride goes ahead and you have a good one, I forgot but I have a lovely spa treatment to go to on Sunday so won't be joining you.. I was so looking forward to the exhibition at Flemington also... and having some yummy treats at Clems.
Last year at this time I organised the famous fog ride to the top of Mount Macedon. Trust me.
OK this ride will go ahead rain, hail, sleet, shine. The brave will be rewarded. By the way Clem will put on specials for us.
