This is short run out of the city through Broady - following David's route up to the town of Clarkefield.
MAP > Meet at Claudio's Minimo Cafe in Brunswick. Cnr Donald & Sydney Rd . Departing at 10 am. Don't forget that it is Daylight Saving changeover the night before. This ride is ideal for new and inexperienced riders - come along, we will look after you.
We'll stop in the small town of Clarkefield to admire the old Coach & Horses Inn, and perhaps even have a mid day drink, before moving on to Gisborne which holds a huge monthly market on the first Sunday of each month. Lots to see and buy. We'll have some lunch there too before travelling home via the back roads to Yarraville.
This is suitable for all scooters, as we will be sticking to country roads all the way. Total 150 ks.
Change of plans for the return route. I found a cool little back road ride from Gisborne which will drop us at Sunbury - from there we can proceed to Bulla and either ride back down somerton road, or take the tulla freeway from the airport - finishing back at Claudio's.

Gorgeous ride today and it was great to have some new faces come along.... perfect weather, lovely surprise to see David and his friends from Java join us at Clarkefield, then a visit to the very busy Gisborne market and on the way home we stopped to watch a few planes land at Tullamarine airport. Hope everyone got home safely and enjoyed the ride as much as I did. Well done Greg....

My apologies Greg. I would like to come but we are entertaining visitors this weekend. However we might be driving to Bendigo on Sunday via Clarkefield so we will pop into the old Horse and Coaches Inn on the way and if you are there, you can say hi to Adi. In spite of its unfortunate teenage Aussie-slang-like name, Plotaroute seems to do the trick. Good find Greg.
