For those that aren’t attending the Meredith Meander Ride but would like an activity after our Melbourne breakfast club meet, then this short 34 km ride to Blackburn Lake Sanctuary might be for you. Departing after breakfast, we’ll be taking a circuitous route through the leafy eastern suburbs to our destination. Blackburn Lake Sanctuary is one of the few significant remaining natural bushland reserves in Melbourne and the best-known bushland park in the City of Whitehorse with high quality indigenous bushland, lake and wetlands and extensive walking-tracks. We’ll spend 30 minutes enjoying the ambience of the lake before riding back to Maling Road Canterbury for a late lunch.

Departure Point:

Dr Morse Cafe, 274 Johnston St, Collingwood.

Departure Time:

10:30am
