A ride to the Pyrenees in the central goldfields, and hoping to connect members from 3 great cities - Melbourne, Geelong, and Bendigo. We'll explore some old roads and towns. The route is all country road riding, and 400 ks all up. Ride size capped at 25 due to accomm limits.
Overnight is at the Avoca Hotel -approx $55 pp twin share including a continental breakfast in the extremely well equipped "Wreck Room" and a BBQ on the Saturday night courtesy of the Club. Hosts Suzanne, John and dog Digger are very excited about having a swarm of vespas buzz their sleepy town.
Day 1: Ballan, Creswick, Talbot, Avoca. We'll stop in the remote town of Paradise - sorry to say there's not much there anymore but at least the Club got you there! And there's the Glenmore bridge for David.
Day 2: Talbot market, Clunes, Ballan, home. I am happy to vary the route if others want to investigate alternatives.

Hi Guys, just got a new teaching job offered to me today after looking since February that starts on Monday so I think I need to look bright eyed and bushy tailed for then, and sort out a few things. Sorry guys very jealous not to be going. If the hotel still needs payment I can transfer money, just let me know!
Hi Les, we are coming through Avoca, Talbot, south the Waubra, across to Creswick and then the back way to Ballan, then home. I will put up a revised route map tonight.
So sad i shall miss this, Goertz rand this evening, they have my parts and I'm in to Vespa House first thing tomorrow. Hope to get it all fixed tomorrow. Which way will you all be coming into town on Sunday ???
