Thanks David- That's the best image I have seen of it yet.  It's a hard badge to find - agreed!

Small wheels - big hearts- I like it!

Yes John. Perhaps we should start an 8" chapter of the club. Small wheels big hearts.

Marc, I thought yours was a 125 because of the colour as the 150s came in baby blue. Here is my original badge which would be the same as yours, very crisply machined in raised aluminum. Rather hard to find a replacement that is anywhere near the quality. The earlier Vespas of the 1950s had sumptuous baked enamel on metal badges. Oops, I think we are gate crashing Greg's post.

Mines a 65 VNC 125 super. It seems there were very few made. By all accounts the extra 25cc of the 150 made the world difference at the sales counter and on the road! I'm still hunting the correct badge. I've got a cheap place holder there at the moment ;)

Marc, it's nice to see that you have an original 8" wheeled Super just like mine. You've also got the horn cast for the old rectangular 'shield' badge too. The new hexagonal badge came along in about October 1967 so only the very early Supers have this.

yep.. then replace and chuck Marc.

Errrr.... could I have the Club experts - Bob and David - around one day (with the club tool) to install my trim?

It's pretty bad.  There's no foam padding what so ever.  The only thing between the vinyl and the springs was an old netball bib!

Marc.. welcome to the journey.  I like the seat though, don't change it!

I've just got the cheapo PX plastic trim till I get my hands on the special tool for the aluminium leg trim. I actually dont mind the look of it without the trim at all.  I too need to replace the steering lock- thats a job for later for me.  Just put 3 new tyres on after cleaning up the rims.  Ciarian from GPS imports has been great.  Oh yes my seat needs some work :)

Well I would invite you both to have a go at installing my trim... but if I don't like it I reserve my right to remove and give the job to Joe in reservoir - ha ha.

How exciting Greg - an old classic to tinker with. Remember we have a share in the special legsheild trim tool and Bob and I have become 'experts' - that is, we done this 2 times more than most people. You might even need this old link now. Have fun.
