On the Way to Lake Tali Karng, 1969

Hey, I just found a companion photo to the one I posted on the club site several years ago. This photo of Priscilla (150 Super) would have been taken about 1969 on the way to Lake Tali Karng. It's a small natural lake nestled in the mountains north of Licola about 300kms from Melbourne. It's rather isolated and a bit hard to get to. I took my brother riding two-up loaded with camping gear for an overnight stay there. In spite of dirt roads from Licola (Mt Tamboritha and Moroka Roads) then a 4WD track off the snow plains down into the lake, we made it before nightfall. What a sturdy little girl Priscilla is.

Yes Anthony but you'll have to join the new Vespa Adventurers group first. I think this track is only open to walkers now.
