Flagpole Hill

A sunny winter's day and a great opportunity for a ride. A big loop north to Flowerdale and back through Pete's hillbilly heist territory with brother John. I've always been curious about the turnoff to Flagpole Hill between Yea and Flowerdale. A knarly little dirt road took up to the top of a hill overlooking the ranges from Yea to Tallarook. And yes, there were some flag poles. A beautiful and exhilarating 180-km afternoon ride.
