You are dead right David, it is a pounds sign. Gee they were pretty pricey even back then !!!
I have no reason to think the colour is other than the original. I would not re-paint it either. As you note it is a really pretty Vespa and I could not bear to mess with it too much. It just needs a few rubbers replaced and a little touch up on the glove-box side panel and some stone chips, maybe a cut and polish. Then all that other work to get it running happy again........
Thanks for the feedback

Hi Adam, the squiggle in front of the numbers on your brochure looked to me like the old pounds sign - £ so I thought that may have been the price. Vespas were pricey in relation to wages back then and it seems about right. Love the brochure and its language. Such a pretty scooter. Looks like the colour is close to the original which was "Grigio Celeste Chiaro" (Max Meyer colour code: 1.298.8840) and looked something like this:
Couldn't find the one on eBay. Maybe Tony has a link. Hope you see you on the road soon. David
Hi to you both
This brochure came with the scooter I purchased back in the mid-1990s. The guy had really kept everything together. Did they actually retail for £218 back then? sounds an awful lot.....
It is a double side brochure that folds out to about A3 size
Also this 125 cc on eBay, is that here in Aust or somewhere else?
Thanks
Adam
