Greg and I would like to thank everyone for your fantastic enthusiasm within this club which has not waned since that very first day we rode to Lygon Street waiting to see who might turn up to our very first breakfast meet after tagging every vespa we could with a "Welcome to an exciting new Vespa Club in Melbourne come join us for a breakfast meet". To our amazement we had 9 curious vespa riders turn up including us, and well the rest is history. We were connected to the National Club but now we are our very own entity and WOW how things have moved along with a very healthy vibrant and growing individual Melbourne club.
To commemorate this brainchild we would like everyone to join us for a get to gether at the original meeting place in front of the ANZ bank cnr Grattan and Lygon Street for a catchup lunch/coffee/drinks at the University Hotel.
If you are interested please register your attendance so we can book a table. Greg and I will be sitting waiting to see who turns up as did a year ago on Sunday September 19.

After taggng bikes for 2 weeks we waited patiently outside the ANZ bank in Lygon Street. Would anyone turn up? Then when people came - well, nice people came!
Do you want to form a group?
All we had to go with was the VRCA at the time, so we all went for it. We hadn't seen Tony's page on facebook yet, but did meet him at our first ride at the VACC rally.
So here we are. Come along for a quiet drink - same spot to celebrate what has happened.
