Ride around that Bay!
We'll stop at Licciardo's in Mt Eliza. Meet up with Mornington riders. Depart at 11.30 am.MAP
Then it's some back roads across the peninsula to Tooradin. I will probably vary the route over the coming days as it develops in my thinking. Happy to have our local members take over the ride and make the route more interesting.
Here it is at present: http://www.plotaroute.com/route/35269
What's in Tooradin? It's a fishing village so some nice photography and lunch there.
Tourist info: "Flowing through Tooradin is the tidal channel of Sawtells Inlet which meanders through pleasant parkland north of the highway. South of the highway, the inlet flows into Western Port. The eastern shore of the inlet caters for water enthusiasts and visitors with a boat ramp, jetty, a reserve with picnic and BBQ facilities, a boardwalk and a coastal lookout which provides panoramic views over the surrounding mudflats and mangroves. A wooden footbridge spans the inlet just south of the highway, with the sculpture of a Dolphin fish located on the western shore near the Tooradin Hotel"
We'll head back to Sofia's in Frankston for 2.30 pm.

Now guys.... I have varied this ride.... just to make it interesting (for me I suppose)
thought we would ride down to Hastings (you know, pelicans and mud), and then to find a place I've never seen before (could be...), and then up to Tooradin. This ride is suitable for all bikes. I will be PX.
If it is like today, tomorrow is going to be a gorgeous riding day...see you all somewhere along the way...and looking forward to catching up with some old buddies...
