This is a big event in Carlton that has evolved from humble beginnings a few years ago. Lygon Street will be closed between Elgin & Faraday and filled with modern and classic Italian cars and motor cycles.
We'll be supporting Vespa Australia who will have a small display at the event, and our scooters will take pride of place. Our supporters Vespa House, Forza Italia, and Brunetti will also be present.
Please come along and make this a big public event for our Club. We have arranged a parking area within the display area for the Club, and we'll ride in as a group. It would be wonderful to get 20 scooters there to make an impression. If you have an old scooter, then bring it along, but everyone is welcome. The Ducati and Moto Guzzi Clubs will be there too and are expecting us.
We'll gather first at Vespa House < MAP> Cnr Johnston & Palmer Collingwood from 8.30 AM.
Clem will open his cafe for us opposite Vespa House, Coffee and snacks will be free, compliments of the Club.
Convoy departs Vespa House at 9.50.
Arrive at Lygon St at 10 AM for parking, then a late breakfast
Entry to the Carlton display is a left hand turn from Elgin St into the centre bus lane at Lygon Street.
We hope to get away early to then ride over to the Sydney Road Street Party, Brunswick. for music and food.

Big thank you to all who came along today, and thank you Clem for opening up and supplying a great coffee/hot chocolate and delicious croissants for everyone this morning. The vespas attracted a lot of attention today as always and they all looked lovely and shiny in that very hot autumn sun.
Sydney Road festival happening this Sunday which means Sydney Road Brunswick will be closed and lots of great music, delicious food and fun times will be had...we will be heading down after the Auto Icons so hope you can join us.
