A PX+ ride to Wangaratta to join Australian Vespa Days. Departing from the north of Melbourne. This is an organizers' ride so we have to get up there early to work!  While it's basically a back roads ride, it's an express ride - meaning we won't be stopping for extended morning teas, photo stops, or long lunches. It will be riding, re-fuel, stretch, and then continue on. We’ll be riding PX so it won’t be super fast. We're aiming to get to Wang by 1 PM. The route is all off-Hume, apart from two easy short stretches - 10 km into Euroa, and then a further 2 km on the other side of Euroa. These are easy time-saving stretches and not to worry, because we'll look after you.

We're privileged to be joined on this ride by Peter Green from Vespa Club of Britain, and Michael Arguelles fom Vespa Club Phillipines.

Preparation: Please have a quality breakfast at home before you leave. Bring snacks - energy bars, lollies, treats, pre-packed lunches that you can eat and share along the way at the stops. 

Meeting:  Coles Shell Servo, South Morang.MAP. Near the old Commercial Hotel. Departing at 8.30 AM sharp.

If you'd like to meet even earler, and the location suits you, then you can be at 23 Everett St, West Brunswick. MAP Departure for Sth Morang at 7 AM. We'll be having coffee and breakfast there beforehand. Let us know if you are joining us before 7 AM so that we can prepare the coffee.

The route: 238 Kms

Stop 1 (90 Kms) East Seymour Ampol GV Cafe Roadhouse. Refuel. Stretch. Eat. Coffee (a visit to the past and the wang dang doodle)

Stop 2. (a further 100 Kms) Benalla. Refuel. Stretch. Eat. Coffee.

Then the last 50 Kms to Wangaratta. (OK - a tourist stop in Glenrowan!)
