A quick one, while everyone's away. A whirl through some beautiful roads from Eltham, through Nutfield and Arthur's Creek, then across to Beveridge for lunch. Being Easter, this ride will probably be small, and the traffic conditions light. With some beautiful back roads it is suitable for all Vespa, with only a couple of necessary fast stretches. So please don't leave those oldies in the garage. Here is the plotaroute, but it may be varied at the whim of the ride leader!

Meet at Cafe 232, Ivanhoe East Village. <MAP>.

232 Lwr Heidelberg Rd. Just to be different. Some will have breakfast there from 9.00, but we will be departing at 10 AM sharp

Then we ride. From Eltham we'll take some leafy back roads north through Nutfield and Arthurs Creek. We'll ride slowly to enjoy these roads, and we'll stop a couple of times at some places of interest. Somehow, we'll magically end up at Yan Yean reservoir, and then Whittlesea.

From there, we'll cut across the plains (over Glenburnie hill) to the old almost was forgotten town of Beveridge. Once sitting on the main Road to Sydney, the historic Hunters Tryst hotel still stands, and that's where we'll have lunch. Beveridge is also the birthplace of Ned Kelly so there are some interesting things to see too. Please RSVP to this event so that a table can be booked.

We'll return home back over and down the Glenburnie Hill (love it) and some more backroads. The ride will finish for Easter drinks at the South Morang Hotel, hopefully at 3.00 PM.
