Sorry. This event is at capacity.

If you missed out, please go to the page at this link to regisiter your Expression of Interest. If you are on the attendance list, please do let us know if you have changed your mind and can't come along.

What
With summer fast approaching and the club calendar full of various events, now is the time to prepare your Vespa for all the great riding weather ahead.

This undercover workshop is open to all owners of modern automatic Vespas who have an interest in riding a safe vehicle and a curiosity about how to help maintain it in top working order. Those new to the world of Vespa are especially welcome.

The 2-hour event will be capped at 20 participants. Pete and David will conduct the session. Questions are welcome throughout the informal presentation as are your own observations, knowledge and input. No need to bring your scooter as we'll have one up on the hydraulic lift for demonstration purposes.

Tea, coffee and a light meal of pizzas will be supplied courtesy of your club so you can come straight after work if that suits you.

Where
The kind hearted folks at Kustom Kommune have made their inner-city motorcycle workshop, its tools and facilities available to us for the evening. Their offer is much appreciated and will hopefully build an ongoing relationship not only between our club but with individual members who can see the benefits of becoming part of the Kustom Kommune community.

What is Kustom Kommune?
Kustom Kommune’s goal is to become a global mentor and inspiration to assist more communities to come together, work collaboratively, share knowledge and create new networks to improve mental health for those that need support.

Since 2013 Kustom Kommune has been offering DIY Motorcycle services to the Victorian moto-community and has both inspired and mentored numerous spaces around the globe to launch similar projects. We want to give our members more opportunity to play a role in shaping the future of the space and help create a truly world class community.

Kustom Kommune members can engage with the space and its community socially, through the regular maintenance of motorcyles or via a grander enterprise such as a restoration project. Workshops and mentorship are also available that teach you automotive techniques and how to use and work safely with various tools.

Kustom Kommune is a Social Enterprise; an idea that became a movement. Kommune does not currently employ any staff (but does employ contractors where needed such as Trainers and Service Providers) and currently all profit is invested back into the community to further our social impact. With members supporting the space by contributing time and skills, we’ll be able to grow our tool and service offerings, reduce cost barriers allowing more people to get involved and remove the time and resource issues, that spaces like ours often face. https://kustomkommune.com.au

Hi Wes. Thanks for your offer. This event has been more popular than we anticipated. We may run it again. If so let's have a chat well before the event fills up. Best wishes, David
