The Australian National Classic Scooter Rally is an annual event for classic scooters, and this year it is being held in Goolwa, South Australia. All the information about the event from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 October. All the event details:
Ride Over:
A number of members will be attending and are either riding or transporting there.
Ride 1. Early Mille attendees. David, Noel and Imam will be riding leavingThursday 26 Sept to get there early for a pre event - the Mille. Arriving in Goolwa on Tuesday 1 October.
Ride2. Greg and Julie will be riding over, leaving Monday 30 Sept. Route - Hamilton, Penola, across to Robe then around the coast to Goolwa. Arriving Goolwa on Thursday 3 October. We'll stay at Goolwa for four nights of the rally, but would focus on riding further around the peninsular. Would leave for home on Monday 5 October. Map coming. And we'll post more details aswe start organizing.
Accomodation: We'll take what comes on the road, but we have an Air B&B house booked in Goolwa, a block away from the rally HQ with limited spaces for under $50 pp per night. Otherwise there's camping or organize your own way.
If you would like to ride with us:
- We'll be on PX 200
- Your bike needs to be in tip top roadworthy condition and recently serviced.
- You have experienced long distance riding and are prepared. If you are independent and confident about the ride, then please come. If you are not, then we can't 'carry' you.
- You don't have to actually attend the ANCSR if you don't want to. You can arrive and do your own thing. We'll certainly be touring too.
