It's been a long time since the Club has visited the historical artists' colony in Etham. September is a beautiful time to see this place, as the wisteria is out and the gardens are just lovely.
Established by Justus Jorgensen in 1934, the colony is set among gardens on five hectares of land, and is the home to dozens of buildings, including houses, halls, studios, galleries and stables. Today, Monstsalvat is a popular tourist attraction and the entire comples is listed on the Victorian heritage Register.
We would like to take you to this glorious destination and there will be a tour of the colony available. This will last about 1 hour and is well worth joining.

Hi Kerri,
I have sent you a message, if we can meet at keysborough and ride together to abbotsford avoiding the freeways.
Message me so we can chat for other alternative meeting point.
Regards.
I'd love to go but not all that confident getting to abbotsford from Frankston South. Anyone from the peninsula going who doesn't mind a learner tagging along behind you?
Can't wait it will be fabbo 🛵🛵🛵🛵😎
The Montsalvat ride is strictly RSVP as we need firm numbers for the tour and also the lunch booking. Registrations for the ride close tonight.
Count us in! — Ida and I will be on the ride to Monsalvat on Sunday — Powererd by the force of Orange PX!
Hi everyone
I have had to change the departure time to 9.30am so we make it for the 11am Tour that has been organised with the volunteer at Monsalvat.
Those who have already marked their attendance or expressed interest have been sent an email with this same information.
It's looking like a gorgeous day to be strolling around the beautiful grounds, so if you are coming please mark your definite attendance. The Tour is compliments of the Club.
See you Sunday.
