969732_485453691532987_1856065279_n.jpgThis is another relaxed get together and ride, just to keep things moving through winter. Our destination is lunch at a brand new café in Yarraville called Garazi. It has an eclectic antique automotive theme and the owner Tony collects and restores antique cars. It also doubles as an antique Jaguar car hire centre, so there are lots of beautiful things to admire and park next to. Tony also just loves a Vespa or two hanging around, so we will arrange a special parking spot.

Meet 10 am on the Yarra. Depart 11 am

Meet in the morning at Remo's Crown Casino meeting point. Spencer / Clarendon Street. Park outside the casino and enjoy the Yarra and views of Melbourne on hopefully a sunny day. Coffee is from Rhuma's Café just inside the Casino complex. Meet there at 10 am (sleep in) for a coffee and kick tyres event. Departing at 11 am for a tour of town ending Yarraville for lunch. Arriving at TBA!. See map below for the meeting point.

The ride is suitable for all rider experience and bike level. It's an excellent first ride for new members wanting to join in and get to know. Come along, new members are always very welcome.

Watch this space as weather patterns and the ride develop. Got any ideas for interesting stops between the City and Yarraville? Post them below.

No rain just blue sky and sunshine for the Mystery ride to Garazi today... 8 (Dennis introducing his new Rally) riders took off from the city down to Beacon Cove via a few extra detours...on to Williamstown with a short stop at Altona pier before heading to Garazi for lunch.

There waiting was JB, Clare John & Sandy and Margarget all very excited to see us pull in.  4 geared and 4 autos looked stunning parked in front of the beautiful rolls Royce wedding cars at Garazi.... Great catch up, fun ride and delicious meals, thanks everyone.

    Hi Guys

Can't attend tomorrow and while you may already be aware, the Run Melbourne half marathon/etc events are happening and means there are "significant road closures in and around Melbourne's CBD" until 12 noon - see link here: http://www.runmelbourne.com.au/content/faqs/gjg4m8 under the "Transport" heading.

The 10am start and the fact you're at the Spencer Street end of the city should hopefully mean you'll miss most of the issues but just thought I'd mention it.

    Cheers

    Dom
