MELBOURNE assembly at Life Saving Victoria "Capes café", on the bend of 200 the Boulevard and Todd Rd Port Melbourne. Departure 10.30am sharp with Police Escort onto Bolte bridge, Tullamarine Freeway then on to Calder Freeway.
GEELONG assembly at Corio Bay Roadhouse, 383 Melbourne Rd, Corio. Departing 9:15am sharp to Werribee via Freeway.
How much does it cost to attend?
Attending the Toyrun costs nothing. We do encourage everyone participating to donate something to the Salvos. You can make an onlineToy purchase and send the toy to the Salvation army (5% discount and 5% goes to Salvos as well).
Can I attend if I don't ride? Yes. All are welcome on the day. Some clubs may have pillion places available.
What can I bring for the Salvos? Help the Salvation Army help Melbourne's needy by bringing:
- New, unwrapped toys
- Non-perishable food (canned, dry food, drinks etc)
- Donations of money
- Gift vouchers

We will be leaving the Abbotsford Convent at apprpx 9.30 and riding to Port Melbourne.
The official ride leaves from Port Melb at 10.30 am sharp - then a freeway ride across the Bolte / Tullamarine / Calder freeway arriving at the Calder Track... hey you get to ride with lots of bikes - bring atoy to donate and strap it on tp ypur bike.
This is one ride I would have definately loved to be part of but will be in Bussellton W.A. this weekend as support crew for my son Travis who is competing in Ironman event this weekend hope the club will really get behind this ride as it is for a great cause.
Hmmm the day after my daughter's wedding. Will see how I go, it is for a great cause though so glad we as a club will be supporting this charity run.
