Join us for the Mornington Peninsula Group's regular monthly breakfast. This month we are back again at the wonderful Harbourside Cafe, along with great views of the marina with it's magnicient boats. Next month we move to a new location, so look out for that! Please advise attendance by this Friday 21 June so numbers can be confirmed with the venue.
**We will be sitting inside, where it will be warmer than sitting outside under cover as we have done for the past 2 months.
Ride after breaskfast - Cape Schanck Precinct. 42 km, 40 mins.
There will be a ride after breakfast for registered members, to the Cape Schanck Precinct with stunning ocean views and which includes the "largest listed lighhouse, museum and former lightkeeper's residence. The buildings were constructed from 1859 and are an excellent example of the buildings of the day". I am still confirming what facilities will be open on the day.
Lunch venue - Spitfire and Grill Restaursant Rosebud, 181 Point Nepean Rd, Rosebud VIC 3939.
As stated on their blurb " Admire our collection commemorating wartime experiences of our service men and women. Our restaurant is also a bit of a war memorial, full of unique historical items from our personal collection as well as special items that have been kindly donated by our customers". They also are proud of their burgers, "We’re famous for our handcrafted burgers made with the freshest locally sourced ingredients we can get our hands on. So much so, we’ve been awarded the winners of the Best Burger Bar in Australia for 2018". Note, other menu options available.
We cant book this venue, but they are confident of being able to accommodate us.

Hi Raewyn, bummer re your Vespa. An option is that you drive down for breakfast as Greg and Julie are doing. Lunch would be around 1pm ish by the time we get to Spitfire in Rosebud. What's the issue with your scoot? Hoping we see you today sometime. Cheers Allan.
