The Brisbane Ranges.

Done this one before? Do it again. New to the Club? This is a great first ride and suitable for all bikes. Some excellent Sringtime roads and riding - it's time for some good stretches and to get those scooters purring. Calling you all out to ride!

Melb departure Point leaving 9.30 am.
Caltex Service Station, Cnr Little Boundary and Pipe Roads, Laverton North VIC 3026. This is our new western meet spot - a 24 hour Service Station with food and coffee available on site. It's a very quick get away from the city too. MAP > Caltex meeting point

Don't miss this ride - just beautiful with some surprises.

Arrive in Meredith at approx 10.45 after 110 km. It's time for coffee, look around, and fuel top up.

8485185276?profile=originalThrough the hills to Steiglitz. The second home of Sandy and John Dynon from the original club. We'll have a quick look around what was once a thriving gold mining town. Bring your camera.

8485178485?profile=originalThen it's down to the Anakie Roadhouse for Lunch arriving about 1 pm. It doesn't look much from the outside but inside there is a bar and cafe. It has a certain eclectic charm (!)  It has recently changed hands again and it's friendly and well stocked too.

We'll get away by 2 pm and get back via Werribee to Melbourne at 3 pm, well before any expected rain. Err... do you really want to visit the fairy park? Please let us all know.

We'll finish the ride in Yarraville and say our bye byes.

Ride suitable for all scooters and rider experience. A couple of 100 kph short stretches. Back roads - no freeway, just nice. Great first ride out with the Club if you are ready. Click the image below to view / download the route on Plotaroute.

Thanks everyone for a top day out!

It was a gret chance to give my little Super a good run and to catch up with people from the club.

Home and not so dry, but the rain hasn't washed the smile off my face.

Thanks everyone who braved the elements and joined this soggy ride.  Hope everyone got home safely.  It was a pretty good turnout considering and it was great to have Anthony from Vespa Club Hellas  Greece, join us assisting with getting Claudio back on the road to complete the ride. :) Tori first time on a club ride from Bacchus Marsh I hope you also got back to a nice warm home also.  Heater is on in Brunswick West on the 1st Day of SUMMER !!!!!!
