Vote 1 VCM. No rain, no election, let's ride! Follow Old Sydney Road, stop at the Tram Heritage Museum, then historic Kilmore for lunch. Ride starts and finishes in Sth Morang, distance of 120 kms. Suitable for all scooters (all off - highway). Some short but historical dirt road stretches.

Meet at Espresso Vivere, >MAP on Plenty Rd just south of the Commercial Hotel intersection. They make great coffee, so we'll gather there in the morning. Depart at 10.00 AM.

Take a back road route west, and because we're travelling close by again we'll stop briefly at the old Ned Kelly .Homestead in Beveridge.

Up Old Sydney Road - yes, this was the original road to Sydney. It's now a forgotten back road, unsurfaced in parts.

Stopping at the Tramways Heritage Centre in Bylands. Why? Because there's a whole bunch of old trams here in the middle of nowhere.

North again to Kilmore parking outside the old Town Hall. Look around - bring your camera - and lunch at a local cafe. - The old tea rooms - a step back in time.

Homeward bound we'll follow the railway track back to Wallan, Whittlesea, to South Morang for a final coffee and good byes.
