If you're into jazz, this is an informal invitation to relax have a sip or two and enjoy some old school Jazz at the Uptown Jazz Cafe in Fitzroy.

My daughter will indeed be playing a bit earlier in the evening—with a sextette of aspiring teenage jazz muso's.
Uptown Cafe have been very generous in their support—as its hard to get a serious jazz club to let underages perform. They will be playing two sets from 5.30 to 7pm.
After that—the professionals start at 9pm—we'll still be there.
If you're interested in an evening of Bebop, (we can talk Vespa's between the sets)...come along on Wednesday.
Uptown is open Tuesday to Sunday evenings every week.
Now this is kind of special as Anthony's daughter will be playing in her first support gig so if you are free, come along to listen to some cool jazz...:)
