8485212854?profile=originalThe National Scooter Rally is an event for all scooters and this year will be held in Victoria at The Grampians, over three days from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st of March. There will be great rides organized and meet scooterists from around the country. We are expecting a big club turnout.

We have booked club accommodation for 38 at the lovely Grampians View Cottages.   THIS IS NOW FULL, and many more of our members have booked their own accommodation around the town. Try bookings.com or other agencies for excellent deals around the town.

8485212701?profile=originalThe Club will organize a ride up early Friday morning. It will be off-freeway and we'll convoy up by the scenic route to arrive by lunchtime. Details will be announced shortly.

We need to know:

1. If you are coming - RSVP here

2. Whether you will riding up with the club on Friday morning. We'll group ride home too.

The official Rally page is here on Facebook. or Website. The organizer Goetz Neugebauer has also arranged an accommodation deal with the Halls Gap Caravan Park.

Not long now, looks like the weather is going to be a bit wintery so don't forget to pack some wet weather gear just in case and also thermals as it will be very cold at night I am expecting.

All linen is provided, and each cottage and unit has a kitchenette.  There seriously is an indoor pool and spa also...:)

If you have time, please have a hearty breakfast before leaving on Friday morning.

When you arrive at the Caltex, please fill your petrol tank immediately.

First group will leave at 8am Sharp.

Second group will leave at 8.15am Sharp.

If you have a club banner please bring it to put on your bike and anyone who has a Club corner marker Hi-Viz Jacket, please bring it with you.

    Bring it on. :)

On Saturday morning there'll be a big ride from Halls Gap to the 'Giant Koala'.

After that the Club has organized the option of a plains ride Into The Wimmera where a highlight will be a visit to the Murtoa Stick Shed.

    If you choose this ride:

You must have left Halls Gap with a full tank of fuel.

The ride is capped at 30, that's the first 30 out of the Giant Koala Car Park at 10 AM

We'll be leaving from the north 'bus stop' side of the car park.

All details will be in your rally pack or

Everyone who is attending this Rally will receive an email from the Club over the weekend.  It will have as much information as we can possibly give you, given that there is yet to be an itinerary for the weekend posted by the Organiser on the Event Facebook page.  It is pleasing to see members travelling in the same direction, reaching out to other members to ride up together to the big meeting point in Brooklyn.

Let's hope the weather is kind to us, this ride is going to be a bit of a challenge for some members who haven't been on any of the longer country rides but there will be refresher stops along the way, pack water and a snack, a casual outfit to get out of your riding gear, a jacket for the evenings as it will get cold, and make sure your vespa is in tip top shape for the great ride ahead.

    See you in a week.

    Cheers Julie

Hi Raewyn, let's meet 6.30 am at Brighton Bath. We can take Beach Rd. Fr most of the trip to Laverton North. Reasonably good at that time of the day.
