Oh Yeh Baby ! Smith Street is always Collingwood to me with all it's kookiness and this ice cream shop oozes all that with outstanding ice cream and surprising left of field combinations that taste way too good. 

NOT TO BE MISSED !!   Get yourself to Fluffy Torpedo in Collingwood.  It's on the west side of Smith Street closer to Gertrude St than Johnson St. Parking might be a little tricky and I'll be there early to get a good park for the rest of us.    A recent reviewer wrote: "This is definitely the coolest ice cream shop I've ever been to. Funky decor, super interesting and exciting flavours, and great sustainability practices. Most importantly, the ice cream is amazing - super smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness." There are many delicious vegan and non-dairy options.

Next time we'll head west to Williamstown.    Get out and VES-PAAA !!

About the Gelato Gathering.  
The idea came out of desire to ride every day and to enjoy the longer daylight and great riding weather over summer. The initial concept wavered between Wednesday and Thursday and this year we'll stick to Wednesday and if the weather forecast and radar show as horific and dangerous, we may cancel at short notice. Please feel free to put up a ride to your local favourite, no need to consult, just do it !!

Gelato locations to be considered this season include: Gelato UNOU Seaford tick,  Luna Blu Elsterwick (tick) Piccolina Hardware Lane (tick), Messina Richmond (tick) and gems I've heard about Cono Gelateria (tick) near Resevoir Lake, Williamstown, Yarraville and Miinot Coburg and Fluffy Torpedo, what the!!  Let me know your fave and we'll get there soon.
