Black Rock May Day Ride - Sun 4th May

Vespa Club clan meeting.

This is just an easy ride and a chance to meet. ride, eat, drink and enjoy. Ride from Yarraville to Black Rock, with stops along the way. New riders are welcome.

Suitable for all bikes, so bring out the oldies too.

The weather says occasional showers, so we will occasionally avoid them.

Meet at Garazi in Yarraville Gamon Street from 9am for breakfast or just a good coffee. Depart at 10 am. > MAP

Over the bridge, we will stop at Princes Pier for a photo shoot, and then to St Kilda for another coffee at Sister of Soul, Cnr Shakespeare and Acland. 

No doubt we will pick up a few more riders there. Departing St Kilda at 12 noon.

We will arrive at Black Rock by 1 am.  Great cafe there - wine and lunch.

Shine up your bike for photos, and come along to meet and just talk Vespa. If you are new to the Club or thinking of joining, then this is a great way to start. We welcome everyone Vespa.

If you have some ideas for some variations, or particular stops, then please put them up.

    Four seasons in one in over and over today, thank you Melbourne weather... well done to everyone who still dared to venture out and join this ride.  Great to catch up and it was so nice to have a comfortable no hassles ride finally on Veloce.

    Good easy relaxing ride, bit of rain and a bit of wind, but no reason to hibernate the Vespa. Nice catching up with you all, great breakfast, coffee and lunch too.

    Great ride with great people.. had a ball even in the rain! Thanks to Intermezzo in Black Rock for the delicious pasta and for the hospitality. Apologies that we took over your restaurant with all of our wet weather gear and helmets!

    Good news Julie. That's amazing that a little bit of tinkering made such a big difference. I will have to start playing around with mine once the the warranty expires in a year's time.

    Hope you can make it Tufan would be great to catch up before you head off the Bali...

    Peter, Roberto had a thorough going over of Veloce, made a few adjustments, quite a few actually but nothing major though and wow now a different ride.  Have to re learn the gear change now...:)

    Just waiting on bling now.

    Will be great to see your Silvio Peter, I am taking Veloce down to see Roberto on Saturday for a close check over...so hope to ride him on Sunday also...

    Will catch up for a coffee b/fast at least and hopefully for the ride too (TBC at this stage) sound like a fine day out for Silvio.
