This is a good short day ride towards beautiful Mount Macedon using all back roads, and a couple of secret short cuts. There is the chance of light 1mm rain, so bring your wet weather gear. If the Mountain is clouded in, we won't go up the top. We'll just check out some leaves! 170 Kms all up > See the Route Map here. Although the ride leader may vary it at his whim!
Suitable for all bikes and rider experience. There's a couple of unavoidable short 100 Kph stretches.
Meeting next to Johnny Pump, 87 Fletcher St Essendon MAP
Departing at 10 am
There's a couple of interesting stops along the way to Mount Macedon - a beautiful place, and pending the weather the ride up to the top - to the Big Cross reserve - is worth the ride itself. .
Lunch stop will be Gisborne town and you'll have access to achoice of take away there. We'll try to get you back by 3 PM.

Thanks Julie, and thanks to Greg for leading a great ride today. Had fun today and looking forward to more to come.
Great ride today thanks Greg and welcome Ian on your first Club ride. Hope everyone got home safely, just as the sun actually came out. :)
One place for a member has become available as Claudio is unable to attend so please register now if you wish to join us.
Yep, no worries. Thanks Greg.
Please don’t turn up with a pillion.
Hi Ian
we have over 500 members and we are restricted to rides of 10.
A pillion takes up an extra person in the 10.
so you would count a two places.
Given that, the pillion must be a financial club member, and with current social distancing rules from your own household.
so a pillion doesn’t really fit the times, sorry.
Hi Greg, is it ok to have a pillion along for the ride in these Covid times?
Thanks,
Ian.
