We're proud to confirm that the next AVD will take place in Canberra: 11-14 March, 2027
The main event hub will be located at Exhibition Park (EPIC), with the Gala Dinner booked for the Canberra Rex Hotel. The event will be hosted by Vespa Club of Canberra in association with the Vespa Club of Australia and the Vespa World Club. Full details, advice, and ticketing information will follow in the New Year. Save the date members - see you all there.

Trucking up: Get your quote The Club has an association with Bikes Only, a national motorcycle transport company who will provide a discounted rate to transport your Vespa one way up, or one way back, or the whole round trip. The rate will vary depending on where you live, and the state of the war in the Middle East and its impact on diesel prices. If there are more than 10 Vespa they will deliver directly to EPIC all in one delivery. Pick up schedules from your home are: Melbourne - any day, Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton (and surround) – Monday. Geelong (and surround) – Thursday. Mornington Peninsula - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. GO! You’ll need to specify your collection suburb and delivery details (for delivery, the suburb will be Canberra). A few key points: Bikes Only will designate one truck to the event, meaning we can take up to 40 bikes into the event and up to 40 bikes out. Members can choose transport to the event, from the event, or both. First in, best dressed – there are only 40 spots. Full refund on cancellations made up to 14 days before the event. Bikes Only will run a ticket system – if spots fill up and a cancellation comes through, they'll work down the waiting list for those still needing transport. Good evening to you both and hope this finds you well. Just a little request , would it be possible to ask VCOM riders/groups who are organising rides to AVD next year to post the different itineraries or travel schedules they have so that some of us who may wish to join the ride groups (safer in nos.)whose itineraries will suit our respective schedules, have the options to choose which group to go with. Some may be departing Melbourne the Sunday before, Monday or Tuesday. I reckon its important to fix the dates as we need to book our lodging also during those period of travels to and from Canberra.

Hi all ... Susan (squeaks other half) is paid & going to canberra !!!
Heads up! There are over 110 VCoM members already booked into this event in March 2027. Overall, around 240 tickets have been sold and the VC Canberra target is 300. In the next couple of months VC Australia will launch a final Australia -wide campaign to sell the remaining tickets, so it looks like it may sell out early. Tony McGrath yes there will be a few groups riding up to Canberra. Routes willl be posted but happy for you to start organising a Mornington group ride up.
Also we are looking into the truck systems again and there is a post to express your interest so let everyone know as a second option.
