A short city ride, as the weather hasn't been great, and our aim is to get to the Inaugural 'Bourne Market in Collingwood.
Yes, it's freezin' but this is an indoor market with stalls, food and entertainment. It's the first ever event, and they want it to be a regular monthly thing. Let's check it out.
"A mini-festival every month bringing together the local artisans, artists, makers, live music and gourmet food in one event."
Meet: Cafe Excello, Spring St, City (This is a new favourite meet point!) >MAP< from 10 AM for coffee.
Plenty of Parking. Try to park down Lt Collins St on the left, or in front of Adam Lyndsey Gordon across the road on Spring St.
We depart at 11 AM for a short ride through the city, winding our way down to Hoddle St, Collingwood.
ABOUT
Bourne Local is proud to announce its partnership with leading Malaysian property developer UEM Sunrise Berhad to create a new monthly artisanal market experience in Collingwood.
The market will feature local artists, musicians, local produce, gourmet foodie offerings and creative makers from the community, in a winter weather-proof space, which is formerly a car showroom at 21-53 Hoddle Street, Collingwood.
Held every last Sunday of the month we will feature more than 100 stalls showcasing the best of Victorian-made crafts, fashion and produce, accompanied by local music acts, gourmet food trucks and a Disco Rollerskating rink for everyone to brush off some winter blues.
Join us for the very first market, on Sunday, July 31, the Collingwood Artisan Market will offer up new curated surprises every month until December, from mulled wine in winter to green-thumb goods in spring.
PS: This event is free but ticketed through Eventbrite. (They are managing the crowd size for Covid) - The club has 10 tickets, but please also book your own here.
