Tonight we will meet at Argyle Square Lygon St Carlton (Opposite Forza Italia) before heading off for a short, mid week inner city around the Boulevard. We will then ride to ‘Lentil as Anything’ at Abbotsford Convent for dinner. This ride is suitable for all size scooters.
‘Lentil as Anything’ are a unique not for profit community organisation. They run several ‘pay as you feel’ restaurants, serving tasty, vegetarian food (and they serve much more than just lentils!)
Tonight is your chance to check them out and support their amazing philosophy (and get a great meal into the bargain!)
Lentil as Anything: How it works
- Choose what you’d like to eat from the vegetarian buffet
- Enjoy a delicious meal, have a chat, listen to some music in a warm community space
- Reflect on your feeling and decide how much you want and can contribute to this unique experience, and put some money in one of our magic boxes in the restaurant (EFTPOS also available at all our restaurants).
(NOTE: They don’t provide change so bring along however much you would like to donate – or donate by EFTPOS.)

The 4 Scooter Chics, Tracey, Sonia, Jo and Lisa.. head off, Lygon St, crazy drivers, Johnston St, more crazy drivers, and on to Yarra Boulavard.. missed turn off so venture to reverse route via Chandler Hwy.
Booze Bus, 4 policemen and women = 4 Scooters all pulled over together. "a bikie gang" was my policemans" comment.. we all had a laugh with our respective breath tester.. we parked at the lookout on the Boulavard, along with 6 sports bikes all taking it in turns to see who could take the big corner the fastest... respect, even some photos of the Scooters...
On to Lentil as Anything, a long queue but moved quickly and in no time were sitting down to yummy vegetarian fair.
Beautiful weather, great company and yummy food.
