Description: Join us for the Mornington Peninsula Group's regular monthly breakfast. This will start a little earlier than normal at 8.45am as those heading off on the ride to follow will depart at 10.15am. Others not going on the ride will be welcome to stay on for longer.

Please register your attendance so that we can advise venue of numbers.

Ride following breakfast: We will be riding to Inverloch via rolling hils and magnificent views, and on to a well deserved lunch stop. Venue to be confirmed. This ride will be via some very interesting and scenic back roads, with stops along the way. The return ride back home will be via the coast road to Cape Patterson, taking in some magificent vistas looking toward Westernport bay. From there we head inland through to Wonthaggi, and on to Grantville, then on the South Gippsland Highway to Tooradin, then home.

Rough time and distance allowance: Approx 2 hours each way which includes stops. Our lunch stop will be approx 1 hour.

Please note: This ride is not for total beginners due to the ride duration. If unsure about whether you will be fine on such a ride, please post a comment and I can discuss further with you.

Hi Peoples, our breakfast will still go ahead this am at Vespar in Sommerville for those heading there. We will be inside. I called them yesterday to make sure of that! As to the ride afterwards, we will assess over breakfast. If we do a ride somewhere it will probably be a shorter ride to Kernot Manin store for example where we stopped briefly on a previous ride. We may also cancel the ride altogether. See you at breakfast for those agttending. If too wet and windy for you to ride, then consider driving.  Cheers, Allanlaughing

Be careful out there today on the ride. The Bureau of Meteorology have predicted a high chance of showers, becoming less likely this evening. Damaging winds possible near the coast during this afternoon.
