Ride afterwards: Millionaire's Walk
Breakfast will be followed by a ride to Millionaire's Walk in Sorento/Portsea. "This stunning cliff top walk (I KM) has historic significance as it was the first time the Union Jack was used to claim possession of Australia. The breathtaking water views across Port Phillip to the Bellarine Peninsula, Melbourne and Mount Dandenong are amazing. Also you will get an insight into how Melbourne's elite spend time at their summer mansions".
Millionaire's Walk makes up a small part of the Sorrento Portsea Artists’ Trail, with four of the fourteen sites that comprise the trail located along Millionaires Walk. Paintings by Sir Arthur Streeton, Arthur Boyd and Ray Hodgkinson are displayed along the walk".
Lunch will follow at a location down on the peninsula which may include a visits to nearby ocean and bay beaches.
Comments
Thanks Manuela, see you at 10 for a coffee and perhaps breakfast but not the ride afterwards (I'll be in my car - not Vespa) See you there to say hi 😊
I will not be attending this event as I will be riding up to Nambour in QLD for the Australian Vespa Days event the following weekend. My partner, Manuela, will be handling any equiries about this event which members have put up as a "comment" above. This will be a great breaskfast event, as well as the ride afterwards. Cheers
