Join us for the Mornington Peninsula Group's regular monthly breakfast at the Harbourside Cafe. This is brand new venue which opened up at the end of March 2024. It is the sister venue of Bistro 1 which we went to for our March breakfast. "Nestled right by the sparkling waters, Harbourside cafe offers you with a truely immersive and relaxing experience, where you will find yourself surrounded by serenity and beauty......Our dishes are carefully crafted to showcase the flavours oif the sea".
Activity and ride after breakfast: (Updated schedule as at 24/04/23)
**Main activity: Show and Shine at the Victorian Maritime Museum. 220 The Esplanade Crib Point. The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club Inc. in association with the museum is holding a Classic and Vintage motorcycle show and shine. "As well as the bikes there will be a sausage sizzle and a band will provide music'. Trophies will be awarded for various catagories including "People's Choice Best Motorcycle" (judging will take place between 11.30 and 12.30). **We have been invited to show our Vespas as part of this event, and you may even win the People's Choice award, so polish your scoots up!!
*Other activities and rides depending on time and preference on the day:
-Pier and information centre, Hastings
-Jack's Beach Reserve - 80m dirt road from main road to reserve (Bittern)
-Woolley's Beach Reserve - 60m dirt road from main road to reserve (Crib Point)
-Stoney Point Ferry Terminal. This is the end of road/train line where a regular ferry takes people to French Island or Phillip Island or both on the one trip
**Ride finishes at the Merricks General Store for a coffee, snack or late lunch. To be decided. (Note: The Heritage Balnarring may also be an option for a late snack, coffee, lunch but a table has not been confirmed. Also live music 3-6pm for those intersted. Band to be confirmed. No cost)
