The Bendigo crew are attempting five river crossings of the Loddon River, incorporating a fun social poker run along the way.
Meeting at Empire Harley, High Street Kangaroo Flat. We will make our way to our first stop at Newstead, via Castlemaine (fuel top up) or Maldon, where we will meet up with our ride leaders Jim and Leslie Knight.
After coffee at Newstead and selecting our first card for our poker hand, we will head of to meet the challenge of the five river crossings. Collecting a new card at each crossing before arriving at our final destination for lunch at the Bridgewater Hotel.
We will declare a winner after reviewing the various hands of cards and the winner will receive accolades and bragging rights.

Ride summary:
- Total distance Bendigo to Bendigo - 187km
- Fuel stops available at Bendigo, Castlemaine and Bridgewater. We recommend carrying fuel to complete the full trip distance.
- No dirt roads expected.
- Level of difficulty would be medium, sealed country roads with many stops
- Lead and tail riders will be in place with corner markers where required.
Please ensure that you advise if you will be joining the event as we will need to provide sufficient cards to complete the poker hand for all participants.
