It's Father's Day on Sunday, so here's a short leisurely ride for Saturday. A visit to the home of Modern Art, and a beutiful ride along the Yarra. > MAP
This ride is suitable for all riders, and all types of Vespa.
Meet in the morning at Vespa House, Johnston St, Collingwood. >MAP. Clem on the opposite corner makes excellent coffee and burrito snacks for breakfast. Have a look around Vespa House, and depart at 10.30 am.
Ride: A lovely ride along the Yarra Boulevard, and we'll stop for a photo. Then a forgotten back road through Ivanhoe and Heidelberg - and you can still see what Heidelberg might have looked like to the artists of the Heidelberg school.
Spring is here!
Heide Museum of Modern Art. We'll park right next to main Gallery. And there's always good art to see.
We'll finish the day by traveling to Maling Rd Canterbury where our friend Peter runs the Alleycat Cafe in Theatre Place. > MAP. Arriving at approximately 2 PM for coffee and lunch. Members are very welcome to join us there too.
