For all my friends in the west this is one of my favourite locations in Melbourne, with Norfolk pines lining the beach, a pretty promanade and park and the strong relationship with surf life saving, fish and chips and gelato . . .  What could possibly go wrong . . . 

Ride yourself to Altona for deliciousnes with a view and Vespa conversation.  If you're riding from the south and eastern 'burbs, please consider using Footscray Rd or Dynon Rd and ride through Williamstown along the Esplande, its a lovely waterfront ride with city views.

Another delicious gelateria and this is as close to Geelong as the Gatherings will get this year, Cheryl, as Werribee has slim gelato offerings, this year.
