Our summer season, gelato gatherings continues with a get yourself to Casa Del Gelato in Carlton next to Argyle Square. One of the oldest gelateria in Melbourne located in Carlton, the heartland of Melbourne's Italian community, always a favourite with many delicous traditional flavours of gelato and sorbetto. The street vibe is not to be missed.
About the Gelato Gathering.
The idea came out of desire to ride every day and to enjoy the longer daylight and great riding weather over summer. The initial concept wavered between Wednesday and Thursday and this year we'll stick to Wednesday and if the weather forecast and radar show as horific and dangerous, we may cancel at short notice. Also there has been interest in pizza rides of the same nature. Please feel free to put up a ride to your local favourite, no need to consult, just do it !!
Gelato locations to be considered this season include: Gelato UNOU Seaford, Gelato Lab Black Rock, Luna Blu Elsterwick, Piccolina Lt Bourke St cnd Hardware Lane Melbourne, Messina Richmond and gems I've been told about in Cono Gelateria near Resevoir Lake, Williamstown, Yarraville and Miinot Coburg and Fluffy Torpedo, what the!! Just arrived and it seems to be closed. Opening hours are 1pm to 6pm. But there are lots of other places around.
