Christmas day ride to Arthurs Seat
Ho ho ho, ‘tis the season to be jolly.
Vikki and I wish each and every one a happy and safe Christmas time to enjoy with family and friends.
What
In our case, after a big family breakfast at Ray and Suzette’s place, we have decided to do a ride to Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsular. If there is anyone who wishes to join us, you will be most welcome. This is very impromptu we know but it is great to get into the saddle of our beloved machines.
Where
We leave from 20 Gellibrand Road Port Melbourne. Stands up at 11am sharp. The roads will be almost empty so we will be taking the scenic beach road through Brighton, around the Mordialloc roundabout then up the hill in Frankston. From there to Mornington where we access the suburban mini Great Ocean Road. Along the Point Nepean Highway until we turn off up the old hill climb road twisting and turning our way to the top of Arthurs Seat. We stop for a fantastic and breathtaking view of the Port Phillip Bay. Then down the hill to find a bakery for lunch before our return trip back to Port Melbourne.
Time
11 am stands up Christmas Day 25 December 2025.
Please note this ride is an unofficial ride but presents an opportunity to get out and about.
