A great ride out of the city and to a great venue for lunch.. Starting in the city we'll ride out through Heidelberg to Eltham and Diamond Creek, and then through the beautiful roads around Arthur's creek and Nutfield. We'll then shoot across to Yan Yean Reservoir for a photo and then the old town of Beveridge where we'll have a short lunch at the historic Hunters Tryst Hotel, and also visit Ned Kelly's boyhood home, before heading home. We'll have you back in the city by 3 PM. Hopefully we've built in enough greenery so that it feels more of a country ride than the city.
This ride is suitable for all rider experience and all model Vespa.

RIDE IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER
With the BOM prediction, I have to cancel this ride sorry. The route is lovely but not when it is wet. I hope everyone who was attending has now received an email.
It will be re posted for another time when it will be dry.
Hi everyone
Just keeping BOM in mind, please bring your wet weather gear just in case. If it looks like we are going to get drowned we will abort the ride and try and get everyone home safely. We plan to end the ride at the funky "Welcome to Thornbury" courtyard on High Street Thornbury.
There is a bit of hard dirt road to the Ned Kelly House, which to our surprise is still not sealed but we think they are working on it with the level of new housing out this way now. Just not ready for in time for our visit however. :)
Anyway looking forward to see you brave adventurers tomorrow. :)
