Time for a ride.
The Bendigo Crew are making their way to the Daylesford Cidery for a taste of the local produce.
For the Bendigo group, we will meet at Gasoline Alley Harley (formerly Empired Harley) Kangaroo Flat ready for a 10am departure.
We will take the back road via Lockwood to Maldon meeting our other members then continuing on to Newstead where we will stop for a coffee around 10:45am.
Departing for Newstead we will meandre our way towrards Mt Franklin and take in the countryside, arriving at the Daylesfor Cidery around 12noon.
We hope to enjoy a light lunch and a chat before departing for Bendigo via Hracourt along the old Calder Highway around 1:30pm.
Daylesford is a very central point for a number of members including Ballarat, Geelong and Melbourne. All welcome.
The Bendigo route is approximately 160km round trip. There might be a short section of well make dirt raod through a picturesque forest, depending on the weather and how we are all feeling about the dirt.
Fuel stops include Daylesford, Taradale or Castlemaine (depending on the route)
As well as a lead and tail rider we will also use corner markers for any of the trickier sections of the ride.
