Hi all, if any of you have any concerns re what to bring or packing your gear, please add a comment and well aim of get back to you asap.
Note also that we will be having a fuel stop in Neerim South. But please start with a full tank of petrol
Sounds good Matt.
Ill be carrying only 1or2 litres extra, adruan says hell carry 5lts.
We should be ok.. its going to be subject to what everyone has left in their tank at the top as thus can vary depending on enfine and riding style.
Also will need to consider return route subject to weather, as it may be pretty hot on monday.
Hi Ray
Thanks for the update, all sounds great!
From what I can see the last place to buy fuel will be at Neerim Junction, about 55km from Baw Baw?
As I'll be carrying 5 litres of extra fuel I should have about 160km range when we leave Baw Baw on the Monday.
It sounds like this will be enough for the scenic ride planned?
Just checking incase I'll need to bring more than the extra 5 litres.
Thanks so much!
Cheers
Matt
Hi all attendees,
We will have a briefing at the breakfast in tooradin with the overnight riders participating.
1. A combined itialian dinner has been organised and the items pre purchased in advance (thanks Maria).
The menu will be revealed at the briefing.
The costs will be split between the participants.
If we have undercatered, or there is something additional or needs to be optioned, dont worry, we can stop off at a supermarket during our journey.
Please bring an ice pack so you can help carry some items.
2. Plaese bring some things such as cheese and crackers (or the like) to share during pre dinner happy hour.
3. Byo drinks to enjoy for happy hour and with your dinner.
4. We will discuss breakfast during our pre ride briefing, as we should buy these on the way up to tge lodge.
5. There will NOT be any shops open on the mountain for supplies.
6. Smaller scooters should (preferrably) bring some extra fuel, as there is a scenic route to return via, and if we agree it will be another aprox 100 kms back to the next fill station from the lodge.
7. Bring some cash for these expenses, including the lodge fees.
Looking forward to a fun expedition with you all,
Cheers, Ray
